drivers seat loose

hey

my car is 5 years old. i just started noticing the seat make a click noise or feels like its moving a smidgen when i either accelerate/brake hard or make a sharp turn. i cannot find anything loose. it feels like its coming from the seat cushion. anyone have this or know the most likely source that i can try and fix

thanks

loose seat

I noticed over the weekend that my passenger seat has some vertical play in it when I push down on the front corner closest to the gear shifter. It can be pressed down about 1/8 inch or so and then will return back up... Only that corner, but makes an audible bump/click when done. Is this similar to your drivers seat? Can you narrow down the spot with the play in it? Anyone out there know if there is an adjustment that can be made or where to start?

I had a similar experience where whenever I was making the turn, a click sound was coming from the seat cushion. I narrowed the area down to the right side by putting my hand, cautiously, under the seat to feel where it was coming from. The solution was tightening a Torx bolt. Been fine for years now.

There are four Torx bolts holding the seat down on to the rails, two front, two rear. They are likely loose. Easy fix.
