E500 Sport Tectite

I'm still trying to get a good pic of tectite. This is pretty true.

What kind of comments do you get on your Tectite

How is the Tectite to maintain. Scratches? Swirls?

I am thinking about changing from the Obsidian Black to the Tectite on my replacement. The black is beautiful and looks like a MB should..but even with all the care I give it, it is full of swirls, etc.

I am hoping the tectite will be more forgiving. I still have not had a chance to see one very well outside.

I had Obsidan Black on an E 430 before I got this car. I liked it but it did show swirls unless you really chased it all the time with an orbital buffer and hand was. The tectite is much more forgiving. Mind you, it does develope swirls but you really have to look for them. They don't just pop out in the bright sunlight like they do on any black.

To descibe tectite. You start with a graphite , and then you remove half of the metal flake that is in the paint.

I got that exterior as well with charcoal interior. Boy it sure is a sharp looking vehicle dressed in tectite more so than the brilliant silver I almost picked out.

Love the hell out the car; I know I am.
