Seondary Air Pump CEL P0410 Help ?
Hi took it to the dealer i am out of warranty 51k CEL came on

P0410 Secondary air pump diagnose by dealer but will not cover under warranty..

Were can i get a secondary air pump so i can take it to good mechanic (North Chicagoland)

Dealer wants $1500 there is noway i am paying that...

2009 E350 rear wheel drive CEL secondary pump failure..

Any suggestion or help please

P0410 secondary air injection
Does anyone have a detail diagram for the secondary air injection system... 2006 MB W211 E350?

I was able diagnose the secondary air injection... air pump or smog pump was working... no problem with fuse but there was problems with shut-off valve. There are two valve... both can be cleaned and work. Also, it is necessary to clean all hoses connecting to air pump... No CEL and system working well... here the diagram and components to secondary injection system. BTW, if you replace air pump... code error will return if shut off valves are not replaced.. those are #4 and 5.

Do you know what is the p/n for the valves (4 and 5)?

The valve part no. 002-140-74-60 and 002-140-75-60. Purchase part from Patrick @ BMA part com.... check SAM for 40 amp fuse, if not burned... and for any aftermarket relay such TYKO. All relays should be Hella with star to avoid ohms law problems... aftermarket electronics are not compatible or meet ohms requirements and create too much resistance or no resistance...
