eBay key?
Hey Guys,

My key is cracking......all your pre-2007 guys know what I am talking about. I found this seller who basically takes the internals of the old key and puts in the new key......anyone have experienced?

He used to sell this upgrade on here, but the mods dinged him for not being a sponsor. Yes, it works, but not with Keyless-Go. We figured that out with mine.

I don't have keyless go but yay! so this is a software change only? he told me he takes the internals of the old key.....

No software change. He literally removes the chip from your old key and puts it in the new one. You could do it yourself if you had the tools (and *****) to pull that chip.

Best to let him do it.

I was going to go this route too, but w/Keyless-Go, had to fork out $200 to the dealer for a new fob.

just placed my order and shipping key out today......he will give better deals direct paypal for $100 which is pretty good...get all keys done on my end
