Yes, and you're correct.

Use the PIAA XtremeWhite wedge bulb part number 19172.

While your at it, change your HiBeam to the PIAA H7 Xtreme White.

Do a search on my name.... "mkassab" and "PIAA" to find out more. This subject comes up every month of so.

mkassab-

Are the part nos. you cite for cars with bi-zenon lights or regular lights? I have the regular lights, and would love to replace their bulbs with brighter, whiter ones. Do you know what the part nos. are for the regular lights?

Thanks!

W212 E350 AMG E63 Pack.
Both light types uses the same for city light and high beams:

194 City light
H7: High Beam
H7: Low Beam on non Bixenon cars.

Use both from Piaa from the Extreme White line.

Does anyone know the part number for the headlight turn signal bulb? Is it a single or double filament bulb? Is there anyway to change the bulbs in the side mirrors and rear tail lights as well?

A great bulb to change the headlight turn signal bulb with is the Osram, Single Filament 1156. It's Amber when if flashes but has blue tint when not flashing. This way, you don't get the fried egg look of (i.e., yellow reflection in the headlight). Instead, it has a blue tint reflection. Much better with the Xenon and XtremeWhite.

I ordered my osram from evosport.com, part # osr-didm01. The funny thing with the MB is they call for a 1157, double filament, but only uses one of them.... which would make it an 1156. The base recepticle is made of a flexable vinyl. This allows for the "slightly" different pin base of the new Osram to fit in with a little push. Nothing that's a big deal.

As far as the mirror and rear tail light, the manual calls them LED's. I don't think you can replace???

This is the one you need for the turn signal bulb on the headlight.
You dont see it from the front but it can flash orange or white depending on which one you order.

How about Zenon bulbs to replace a standard headlight?

For Xenon Bulbs do not buy Eurolite, buy PIAA Xtreme White Plus H7. That 's what you need if you don't have Bixenon.

mkassab: thanks for the info, but I would like mine to flash white. Will either a single or dual filament bulb fit? I would think it would only take a single filament, as it only turns on when flashing, but I was told only the dual filament fits. Can you clarify?

Crazy: The box in your picture, is that the brand? Where can I order in California? Any websites to order from? Would you recommend any PIAA or H1 Hybrids for the headlight signals?

Thanks for the info, guys! One final question: how much brighter is the PIAA H7 Xtreme White bulb than the standard (non-zenon) bulb?

That is the brand of the bulbs kit, you can order it from
www.bimmian.com/x5-platinumvisions.htm

Wheter you order the one that flashes orange or white, both will look exactly like the one on my picture.

Crazy: thanks for the link. Are these the bulbs you ordered? If you ordered in white, how close to the xenons do they come? And which bulb do I order? The site is for BMW's. Have you tried the interior xenon bulbs? Those look interesting.

Those are the ones I got. You just need to order the ones for a E46 and you will get 4 /1156 and 2 194. All of them in white looks 100% the same as the piaa's xtreme white plus that I have on my other car. They only sells this as a kit so you will end up with 2 /1156 as spare.

Is there any problem with a bulb out message when using non-cancellation/non-canbus bulbs?
