This fake badge & pipe thing is just way too annoying. I can't hate on the other mods though. As said before people should be proud of what they drive and not try to pass it up as something it isn't. It beats me since most if not all the people who would be impressed by an E55 AMG are enthusiasts who know a real one when they see/hear it and those that fall for this being an E55 don't appreciate an E55 from any other E class anyway so the point of it all beats me.

Again my point is 2 sec rush is not a big difference. Also I do not like to spend my extra 20 K on hooker either. Yes I belong to a USA middle class educated group and I am proud of it. But one thing surprised me is the mentality of AMG owners. They have some kind of complex. Still trying to find out what they are missing . May be an extra 1 sec

Anyway, don't classify all AMG guys as having complexes. Some of us just like fast cars and use the e55 for work. After all, I couldn't earn my "middle class" income in a corvette. I needed the sedan but I wanted power. So I chose power with function.

By the way the fake conversion of E3.. or E500 to E55 is so common that people now think that AMG is not real and why buy AMG, rather buy BMW because their body style are lot different among their own models not like MB manf guys who like to manf same shape but diff engine ( hp).

Yes I did my self. I also installed Alpine with amps. Installing Alpine was a pain. I rewired the MB. Some day I will post detail pic on DIY
