how much psi in 17inch

i have w211 e320 4 matic. i initially had 16 inch star rims. recently i upgraded to 17 inch star rims.

on my door it recommends 29psi front and 32psi back but that is for 16 inch rims.

i was wondering how much pressure in tires i am supposed to keep for 17inch rims.

thank you

On my 08 E350 w/ sport pkg, which has staggered 18" wheels, the recommended PSI for the front and rear are the same as your 16" wheels. My guess the recommended PSI for the 17's would be the same as well.

For my taste,

after a year and a half of experiments, I much prefer equal pressures front and rear, to get more rapid steering reflexes (like one of those Bavarian cars), so I'm now running 34 and 34 in our '06 500E 4-matic wagon with 255/45 X 17 tires on stock 8" rims.

Mines' a 4Matic, like the op's, and the driver side door sill states 29F, 34R.
Don't know if non 4Matics are the same.

The shop foreman at my local MB dealer feels that's a bit extreme for the fronts and recommends the 32/35. The factory reommendations for most cars tend to be for "comfort", where as the majority of us go for higher pressures to get a compromise between comfort and performance.
