Hi all,

I apologize if this has been discussed before, I did my best to search and could not find the right info.

I have a 2004 W211 E500. I like the grill look OEM from 07-09 model (just the plain one, without the huge star that most after-market sells).

My question is simple: Is it possible to buy an OEM 07-09 Grille and install it into a 03-06 model? Is there an "adapter" or something? Or is it installable directly to replace my standard 03-06 grill?

If not possible, is there an aftermarket grill for 03-06 that "LOOKS LIKE" the 07-09 model? Or maybe..the AMG version from 07-09 - can it be installed to my 2004 E-Class?

Chrome is preferred, but without the big Star emblem in the middle..

There is a post in regards to a 07-09 change over, including the bumper, etc... its a page or 2 back either in this forum or the other.... Should have what you're looking for.

The simple answer is - no, since 2007 change over has a different size and shape grill which does not fit pre-faselift hood and bumper.

Does anyone know if there are After Market Grills for 03-06 E-class that does NOT have the large Star emblem in the middle?

Actually, it fits the hood...not the bumper.

There are aftermarket grills available... just look on Ebay..

Some have 3 blades going across, some have 4 blades.... etc
