E320 w211 cd nav stereo problem
Hello, Can anyone help me please...
I have just bought a 2003 E320 cdi and I bought it knowing that the stereo/nav was not working,
It is fitted with the navigation and phone and the cd changer under the hazard control panel
Tha problem I am having is the stereo won't go past the mercedes benz on the display,
my stereo MODEL NUMBER BE 6026 and PART NUMBER A211 820 10 79
I have changed the 2 batteries -the main and the little 1 under the airbox as the car displayed electrical consumers switched off malfunction, but this has made no difference.
I know there is a cd changer under the hazard panel but this has also never opened.
I have also removed the fuse for the stereo and no difference
Can anyone help or advise or is this a Job for Mercedes Dealers.

This is the symptom of ANYTHING on the fiber loop, not starting up, loosing power or defective.
It can be the CDC, Audio Gateway, Telephone module, Teleaide module or COMAND (but it is starting up.. so probably not)
