Question about the E350 motor.
So I have a 2007 E350 motor just sitting in my garage. NOW, there is a 2008 R350 in the auction that needs an engine. My question is if: Anyone can actually confirm that the motor is interchangeable with the 2008 R350.

It's the same basic motor, but things like dipstick location, air filter, etc., could be different.
These things are all computer controlled, and even the fact that the two vehicles very likely have different final drive ratios could come into play.
