I know the computer will not play music, but device manager should see a device connected, even if its unknown device, or PC should say that it cant install the device, but I get nothing....
I can't speak to Windows device managers (as that is not really part of what is going on anyhow) - as I am a Mac user - so ya got me there. Scott asked that all future communication be handled through him via the email he sent, as it may create a split in support - I have gone as far as I can. He is the product developer, and is fully equipped to aid you. I will email you too when a resolution is found.
As a note that could be part of the confusion, there was not a factory iPod dock option in a 2005 BMW. It must have an aftermarket unit in it. I do a lot of work personally with BMW and know the system very well. If we can find out what it has in it, that may give us a solution.
Yeah speaking will communicate with him. Just so you know I tried in my MAC as well and it doesnt show up in USB devices eather....
Im researching the Dock in my friends car and it looks like its BMW part 65410411033 I guess it could be a dension manufacture but based on what I`m seeing its not, its a BMW part.
Will wait for Scott to reply
Have to say the customer service and support is exceptional with this guys.
