I always thought that when you put your car in the sport mode that it did not lower untill you reached a certain speed. The Online European owners manual indicates that when you switch to the sport mode that the car lowers by 15 mm. (I can't consult my owners manual because the dealer has the car fixing the keyless go amp).
I put it in the sport mode the other day while sitting still and did not notice any lowering.
Anyone know the scoop on this?

apparently the non us model will lower and the us e55's when the sport mode is enaged, no matter the speed or standstill. however, on the e500, it only lowers when the speed is 55 or 60 mph for more than 5-6 mins. i've also noticed that the car lowers at high speeds regardless it's in sport mode or not.
