I just got a 04 E55 with close to 93k a little over a month ago. Love it so far. Have it to the dealer because the Visit Workshop light for the brakes was on. Turned out the SBC was bad and MBUSA warranties it for 10 years after manufacture. Dealer did it all for free. Only problem I have is with the keyless go for the drivers door. Got a new handle and still doesn't work.

I got this same problem.. I noticed the plate button on the inside of the door handle does not feel the same, as it does on the other 3 doors. On the other 3 doors, you barely have to pull on the handle (pressing in the plate on the backside of the handle) and the doors pop open - except for my driver door. It will not auto unlock when I go to grab the handle - So I have to open the back door and then the front door, close the back door, and get it....... lol

Try squeezing and holding for a sec. I noticed on my doors that do work, that if you just tap the inside button it will only unlock the doors. If you squeeze a little longer the door pops open. This is how I unlock my doors, but using the driver's rear and not pop the door open. Just a quick press.
