Bluetooth Steaming= Solved!
Hey Guys,
I know a lot of us are getting away from iPhones and hitting the android market (as I am also). Since there isn't a connector for my HTC, I found a solution where I can stream music to my Comand Unit from my HTC with Bluetooth! I will have a video up tonight to show you. As long you have iPod connection in your car, you are good to go!

Is it the little Blackberry bluetooth connector thingy, that connects to the aux port in your glovebox? I almost bought one.

Very curious about this.. I had my 30G iphone, and use that for music, and just leave it in there.. but now I got my iPhone and I have music on there.. I'd rather stream from my iPhone instead of using the 2nd iphone..

We have them available now, and work in ALL Mercedes (except a few scant new firmware of the MMI+ in 2011/12 models). It is the AnyStream.

I can't be ours, as we are making it ourselves..... We designed it specifically for automotive applications, however it will work in home applications. There are specific software differences.

2. Why is shipping $14 to CA for a little puck? Can I give you my own FEDEX #, sheesh. Can you send USPS w/ tracking?
I'm ready to try one.. I want to ditch the second ipod in the glovebox and just stream off my phone.
Also wouldn't I then have 2 connected devices? How does that work with the MB phone module + the anystream when a call comes in? etc..

Eventually we will have a sale, but don't know when. They have been flying off the shelves at a rate of 20+ per day.
Our shipping charges are actual UPS with insurance + $1.25 handling (tip, if shipped to a business address, UPS charges a lot less). We can send USPS, but not FedEx. If you wanted us to send via USPS, that would need to be a phone in order. All of our orders have a $1.25 surcharge for handling, printing, pickup fees and applicable packing. At the time of this writing, UPS and FedEx are charging a fuel surcharge with every shipment, in case you were not aware.

That's a VERY good price if it is BT 2.0 with AVCRP and both 12v and 5v compatibility like ours is. If yours works for you, then be glad! However, our build cost is more than what you paid to get all the features we designed into ours.

it was some shady site i bought it from but I asked them if they had more since they don't have it on their site...they said they are coming out with a better one for around $38shipped.

Our audio quality is superb. It was my primary focus when designing the product. I spent the extra dollars on a proper chipset and license. The compatibility was the next focus.
We started by tested several korean and chinese units (the only ones out there) and they would work in one car, while not another. They also had auto connect, or auto re-connect issues. It is always less expensive to not re-design the wheel. We were hopeful that one of the tested units would work out... alas they did not meet our criteria (nor the criteria of one large retailer that has started carrying our product).
Our unit is a bit more than $38 (and will hopefully come down a bit over time, once sufficient quantities have been made), but we are not a "shady site" as djrabbi said he purchased his from..AND we are sponsors of this forum and help keep it going.
