2004 E500 Radiator cooling fan
Hello all,
new owner of a 2004 E500 and I've noticed the electric radiator fan won't come on.
I'm getting 12v through the mains, and grounded the green wire but no joy.
Just wanted to reach out to the community to see if there is anything else I should check prior to ordering up a new fan unit.
Is this a common issue with these car's, where the fan quits? Luckily in WA state this summer, we aren't all that hot yet so I've got time to order up a new one.
the number off the unit is 1137328108 but a parts search comes up with all EU locations.
I've found pn W0133-1717858 but wanted to double check that with you guys to see if this is the proper replacement fan for the 04 E500
thanks for the assistance

Part #s given are Bosch (manufacturer) - MB part # 2115000693 (to comparison shop bmwmercedesparts.com new $363.40) replaced by 2115001693 (368) not certain of difference other than MY therefore either one should be fine.

Thank you very much for the info.
wasn't aware of bmwmercedesparts.com, although it appears that many parts web sites use the same distributors and parts depot.

I had to replace the entire fan assembly, when mine stopped working.
Turns out, on the 'AC-plug'-like connectors had broken. And MB doesn't sell the connector itself. I had to buy the whole dayum fan assembly because a 3/4" piece of metal broke.
I was like, "this is some "
