Why Not Oil Change?

I have a service B with items: 3, 6, 13, 15, US Service 3, US Service 10, and General Inspection.

None of these are oil change, should I change my oil with this service? I drive 99% highway and have 11,167 miles on this interval.

Thank you.

*facepalm* service b (or service a, c, d, e, f, g, h) is an oil change PLUS the other things being called up on the FSS.

Thank you!
I wish we could use the proper FSS that is used in Europe. It would be nice to let the sensors tell me when to change the oil and not some generic interval.

It isn't some "generic" interval. It is very very well defined (in the manual) when you need to change your oil.

For my 08 E550, it is 1yr or 13k miles, whichever comes first. I believe for 09's it is 1yr or 10k miles.

So in looking back at my Service Booklet, item 12 is listed as oil and filter change. Shouldn't that come up every time if they call for oil at every service interval? I'm going to change it anyway, just wondering why list it as item 12, then not have it come up at all the intervals?

If you drive mostly highway like me you can probably squeeze 13-15k out of your oil. We don't have 8.5 quarts for nothing, UK is 19k oil changes IIRC same oil! I normally do about 13-15k and my engine is clean as a whistle and stays over 30mpg for highway trips.

Thank you!! I changed it at 11645 miles on oil, mainly because I love to do it . I will let it ride for 13K like the FSS said this time. I'm averaging 30.7 for the last few months. A few of those trips are up to 32+ miles. Love this car!!!
