There is a place inside the glove box lid that looks like it is to hold a pen. Did a pen come with anyone's car? A big pen won't fit. I know this is being **** but those little things just bug me.

 

well when you open the glove box, there are two clips at the edge, we put a little flash light, i think thats whats it for, i remember a long time ago people said BMW put flash lights there, i forgot what the company of the flashlight is, but it is the ones that are metal, i think its mag-lite??? we bought a 3 pack at costco, and the medium size fits perfectly, thats all we added in there.

 

A tire gauge (not included) goes in that spot.

 

Someone posted a picture of how they had the glove box configured awhile back. They had a pen, a flashlight, and in the little compartment on the door, a sticky pad.

I have the pen and the sticky pad in mine but never did get a flashlite that fit. The tire gauge makes sense.

I've put a pen and a Mini-Mag flashlight in the two holders. I figured I'd use the flashlight more than a tire pressure gauge (and the one I use regularly wouldn't fit anyway).

 

I put an MB wood pen in mine.

I finally picked up my car today and when the salesman was going over the car with me he showed me the clips and said that they were for a pen.............. not included of course!! to each his own

 

If you don't smoke...why not take out the ashtray and put in the rubber mat we see on the glove box door? It makes a great extra compartment and the mat keeps things quiet.
