Cool Please help

I want to buy a 2009 E350. I am a helpless woman and don't know much about this car. I don't want to get myself in trouble. Please help. Any input would be appreciated.

Good car - as you can see in my signature below, I have a 2008 E350 4Matic. I believe that 2009 is also a good year for this model. The members here will help you to confirm if the price is good. Post details and stand by...

Another round of ICE
I also have an 08 E350 4MATIC and it has been highly reliable, excellent quality. However, how the first owner treated a used car is an unknown. I suggest visiting a Mercedes dealer and considering one of the cars in their Certified Previously Owned (CPO) program, and ask the dealer to take you through how they inspect the cars and the warranty. It takes a significant amount of risk out of buying a used car.

Also, please don't use gender as a cover for not having knowledge, or my wife will send a strongly worded posting !! pointing out that men can be just as unaware on any given subject!! You can see I have been highly trained.

Post more details...

Have you chosen a specific car yet?

Are you paying $100,000 for a car with a million miles on it?

Do you live where there's snow? Is it 4Matic?

"2009 E350" = "probably a nice car". That's about it.

This is 6 years newer than my E320 but I have had mine for 4+ years and 60k miles. Flawless. I'm just now getting into the heavier maintenance items such as gaskets and seals. I am learning to do these items myself because these parts and labor is through the roof $$$$$.

Would not change a thing about my W211. I actually like the interiors of these far better than the new ones, they are too busy for my taste. FYI rear wheel drive is just fine for most of the country. I feel more planted and safe in my rear wheel drive E Class than in my all wheel drive X5. I was able to drive it in town and on the highway during the massive snow storms we had in MO.
