Headroom?

I test drove the new E320 last Saturday and I don't have as much headroom as I had in my '98 E320.

I'm a tall guy at 6'3 and my head almost hits the roof, versus the 3-4 inches I have in my current E. Is there less room or was my seat not positioned correctly?

Also, the trunk is huge! Too bad I don't need it as we have two SUV's at home.

I'm 6'1" and I don't have a problem. Maybe the seat was not all the way down. I keep mine in the lowest setting.

I'm going to go back this weekend and take another test drive, this time paying more attention to the height / position of the seat.

I don't really want to, but if I still find myself without enough headroom then I might look at the S-Class.

The 2003 E definitely has more foot and head room than my 2000 E. Lower the driver seat to the max and see the difference.

do make sure the seat is lowered all the way. i put mine all the way down (as I'm used to doing in other cars) and was shocked to find it was too low (I'm 6'1") and had to raise it up a bit ....... still lots of head room!!!
