Reset FSS Computer

Step 2: Indicates to press either of the (Menu Buttons) repeatedly until the MILEAGE is displayed within the Multifunction display. I CAN NOT get the current mileage on the odometer to display as required. I have 59,7xx on the vehicle and the only mileage that constantly displays at the bottom of the Multifunction display is 5200.6. This maybe mileage since the last oil change and that would be about accurate. My only last recourse is to take it to my indy MB shop and I don't want to give in that easily.

Did the service a few months ago and never bothered to reset the reminder.
Now it says I exceeded G services with 56 days and a few hundred miles.
Got into the menu the other day and started hitting buttons, but the system won't budge...It won't reset and insists I exceeded the service limits..

Is there a point of no return where it will not reset without MB tools, OR should I go back to the menu and try again.?
