I'm a newbie...will pick up my new (to me) '09 E350 4Matic Sport sedan tomorrow! There appears to be two discussion groups for '09 E-classes...W212 and W211.

Which chassis designation applies to my car?

there is no ambiguity, w211 end of story

Does yours look like it's squinting in the front and a Hyundai in the rear? If not, you have a W211.

If it has circle lights in the front its the w211 thats what I have! it the the other lights then it is the w212. but the W211 is where its at!!!!
