2005 E-500 Aftermarket Grill
I ordered an 'SL Style' replacement grill for my 2005 E-500. Grill looks decent, but is made of cheap plastic and fits terribly.
Looks like this one:

Any ideas where I could find a similar style grill that is a higher quality part?
Many thanks,
jw

Ignore my signature. I also have a 2004 E500. I tried a grille similar to the one you bought. There was nothing wrong with the quality or the fit, but I didn't like the way the fit looked. If you want the star I would use one with a border around it as it fits the hood better. Like this one. I now have a '07-09 grille with all the other face lift parts on the front and rear of the car. As far as cheap plastic goes. the original MB grilles are made out of the same ABS plastic.

Biggest issue I had with the one I bought was the fit at the top of the grill, 1/2 to 3/4 inch of open space. I'll try the grill you posted and see how it looks, thanks!
