AMG Tips on E-Class CDI?

AMG Tips on E-Class CDI?
Hi there,
I have recently done installed an E63 AMG bodykit on my W211 Diesel. Looks so much better ( My old bumper had some scratches and dings).
However i don't have any exhaust tips, at the moment i just have two large holes with little downward facing pipes.
I was thinking about removing the two rear mufflers and installing some AMG quad tips like the ones on the E63 just to finish the look.
For all of you that have done the conversion, what tips did you use? and did you remove the mufflers or just re design the pipes etc??
Pics would be great.

I have done a couple of the conversions using the AMG Rear mufflers.
AMG sells a complete kit with Mufflers,hangers,hardware and reducers so that its a bolt on mod...Most of the aftermarket quad tips do not look good ..Very poor fit and finish

I have to agree. If you want it to not look cheap then you should get OEM tips, or a full aftermarket replacement like Super Sprint, Meisterschaft, Eisenmann, or something similar. Otherwise, you will have to source some aftermarket tips that fit properly and that may be a little harder. I tried but was not able to find ones that look right.

WIS document AZ49.10-P-0001T, "Retrofit AMG muffler system," covers this modification and lists part numbers for mufflers, etc., required. Not so sure Mercedes provides this for the 5-cyl models, however.
