Ideal length of Roof Carrier Box for E350 Wagon

I had W210 E320 with Yakima Skybox 16 (81Lx36Wx15H). Good fit but it was little too long so that interfere full opening of real hatch door. (I could only open 2/3 of it).

Now I have W211 E350 and looking to buy a roof box for it since I sold mine.
I noticed that E350 wagon's real hatch door opens more than E320 wagon's.
Is there proper fit guide? (should I move forward with 81" or 81" is too long?)

I don't know what the correct length is, but the solution to the hatch interference is simple. I'm assuming you have an electric hatch. If so, the manual describes how you can program the hatch to not open all the way. You can also check and see what the length of the MB roof box is on one of the web sites for forum sponsors.
