W211 NTG 2.5 Radio Replacement

I just bought an 03 e500 with the HK logic 7 system in it I plan on replacing the amp which is now blown but I know that's common but the headunit is was is bothering me right now. First off is the widescreen radio for the 211 considered the ntg 2.5? How hard would it be to replace the factory radio with the ntg 2.5 I know there is another harness you have to buy but does that make it plug and play basically and will all of my HK components work? Also what could I do about trying to get the factory navi to work if I got the new unit? Any info on this would be helpful, Thanks

One guy here did it, and he is an MB tech or something. As I recall, it is a huge job requireing removal of the AGW 7 other stuff.

Well the thing is my dad is an mb tech so wiring and having access to DAS for coding shouldn't be a problem I just really wanna find out If it was a huge job and if there is any other easier factory replacements that are the widescreen display. In the end if I can get everything to work except navigation I still wouldn't mind it I just wanna keep the factory look instead of going double din
