anyone knows how ASSYST PLUS works ??
As title,
I went to workshop for 10000KM service two days ago
in 9990KM, and they reset the ASSYST for me from 10000KM
however, my car now is in 10250KM, but the ASSYST
says "service B in 9850KM"
the problem is , If the ASSYST counts down from 10000KM, then it should be diaplay "service B in 9740 KM" (10000-10-250) not 9850 KM?
I alos found that even you stop the car, the ASSYST also counts down (idel for 5 mintues then reduce one KM)?
Is this normal ??

The service interval varies, and recalculates, based upon trip length, engine temperature on each trip, oil impurities, and a number of other variables. It changes throughout the period.
