E500 airmatics bounce on hwy?
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if the airmatics go bad and bounces like worn shocks, or are they either good or not, as long as not sagging/leaking?
I test drove one this week and it was on firm setting, but on the highway the car was bouncing - like big waves...and curious if normal.
Btw, my R500 airmatics doesn't bounce like that.

Have never felt anything like a bounce with the airmatic suspension. I am picturing a 1977 cadillac going down the road with a full load in the trunk and six people inside. That would be a bouncing wave machine if there ever was one.

I never noticed any stiffness or bounciness until I lowered it the second time. When I was at stock height and slightly lowered, it rode fine.
