Hey guys,

I normally spend time in the amg section but i always come here for other things because you guys have good write up on things IE ball joints and other things. Any input or help is appreciated.

-My door to the cup holder wont go all the way back (wont open all the way)

-The light that lights up my ashtray is not working

-My audio functions!!!!! this is the worst I was getting issues where in the morning when i would start my car my command would freeze at the start up logo and it wouldnt work. I would have to reset the battery in order to get it to work again. I went two days without audio and went to advacne auto and they checked the aux battery so i went to walmart and changed it. Audio worked okay for a couple of days and then the freeze came back and had to reset the battery again. The battery in the trunk is still the original since 04 the result on that batt said it was good but needed to be recharged, should i just replace it?

-my friends e500 sounds alot better and i believe we have all the same components, i think my sub stopped working or it blew and it wont work. best way to check it? where is it? lol

With out knowing the make and model and trim, it will be hard to know. But I would recommend changing the original trunk battery as well, as it appears to be 7 years old.

I don't know about the other issues, but the easiest way to remedy the problem with the cup holder is to just buy a new one on Ebay for about $80.

even if i bought a cup holder i couldnt put it in because the door wont open all the way

Replace main battery in trunk this may resolve Telematics problem. Remove shift cover by opening astray and grasping at front – pull up to unclip. Detach shift lever knob by turning counterclockwise. This will allow access to front of cup holder cover to attempt opening. Check fuses @ front SAM concerning ashtray light
