After having read the various posts about the turn signal malfunction problem on the '03 and '04's, I purchased the replacement socket and followed the instructions. I get 11volts at the socket but the lamp will not light. With the bulb in the socket I do not get the error message but the light is not working. I have tried two differnt bulbs and still no turn signal. Any ideas where to look next.

Make sure you get new bulbs. I did the replacement wire harness too and didnt swap out the old bulbs with new ones and i got the same malfunctions later. Changed the new bulbs and it worked fine after that.
