TPMS "visit workshop" with replacement sensors

Hi,

I've replaced all the tire sensors on my 2004 E500, and now all four tire pressures read correctly in the display. However, the pesky "Visit Workshop" error still persists as a malfunction. Any idea why this isn't getting cleared? I've tried resetting the TPMS to no avail. Thanks in advance!

I initially chased the "visit workshop" warning with resets for a few weeks until recommended to replace the tire sensors which I did by buying them online and having a local tire shop install them. The warning went away immediately after replacing the tire sensors without even a reset.

I would try unplugging and some contact cleaner then re plugging the N88 module which lives in the trunk. Not 100% sure where but I think its left side towards the rear. If the N88 module is faulty (unlikely but possible) you may have to replace it.
