E320 going to neutral while driving.
My e320 has started acting weird. My car would randomly go to neutral(engine running and revving up)but no movement. I stopped the engine and restarted and the car worked fine.
The other symptom is that sometimes itngets stuck on a gear(2 or 3 )I guess and would not shift until I stop and restart the engine. Please help if younhave had these issues.

How much miles are on the car? Over or around 100k? Sounds like transmission. My old e500, would jump into neutral whenever i gassed hard. And my old jag had the same problem being stuck in a gear till redline. Both were issues with tranny, both had around 100k.

Yeah. The car just hit 101k miles. Is there an easy fix or do I need to visit the dealer. This problem started happening only after a tranny oil change

In my benz the transmission slipped into neutral about 3 or 4 times over a 2 year period. So it didn't require that much attention. But since u say you car also revs high in 2 or 3rd gear, that sounds a lot like my jaguar's transmission problem. I ended up going to a transmission shop and rebuilding it for 3000.
