E55 Gas Mileage

what are you getting in the city and hwy? also, is the engine the same as e500 and just modified or completely different engine?

but E55 cannot have the same horse power as her sisters, S55, CL55, and SL55 due to the "price" issue. (money controls the intake air.)

E55 city 14 mpg, highway 20 mpg according to "car adn driver"

On my E500 i got 14mpg on the city (is that what u guys get on E500).. not sure on freeway...

2003 E500

Depending on my mood and whether I am alone or with my wife and son. Alone I usually get about 11-13 mpg in the city and about 18 or so on the highway... probably average about 17 all around esp with the wife and son in the car.
