Kevin,
Thanks for the heads up and photo's. We are waiting in anticipation over what our's will look like. Hopefully the '04's will be the same, but with the preset situation fixed.
David

Kevin,
I was wondering if your nav offered an "enlarged intersection view". Basically, I know if the map view and the turn arrow indicators, but at intersections that are more complex, a close-up view of the actual intersection layout can be very helpful. In the Pioneer and Magellan systems, this close-up of the intersection view appears as you approach an intersection where you have to make a turn as directed by the nav system. Does your nav offer a view like this? I know that the 3-D bird's eye would do this but since your version doesn't have the 3-D view, is there some 2-D overhead version view with this kind of close-up as you approach a turn?

Etenn,
You're right, it's an "European roundabout" I post you a normal intersection and later an complex one.
03BABY!,
There is one Audio Input (RCA) in the glove box and video input if you have TV option (I don’t take this option)

Actually the command isn't Bluetooth. But apparently for the end 2003, the MB phone will be Bluetooth then command system too I think.

Kevin, your probably don't know that they have been thousands of posts speculating about the w211 dvd nav, and your the first confirmed person on this board with one. We've yet to see this system in the U.S., but I've got to believe that if your April build has this comand, than our's will also.
Is the DVD in the trunk? Does the slot in the dash play dvd's, MP3 encoded cd's?
Thanks,
David

I've seen a unit that looks the same as Kevin's unit on the CL600 and S55 AMG on my dealership's sales floor (with the screen off). The reason I noticed it was because the screen was rectangular instead of the square screen of the old cd based navs. Has anyone seen this on higher end mercedes models?

The slot in the dash play DVD (My dealer said me the quality is better with the TV option). When you play DVD you can see the movie under 5 or 10 KMH. In higher speed you can only listen the movie.
Unfortunately no MP3.
