K & N vs. BMC Air Filters
I'm considering replacing the OEM Air Filters with K&N or BMC Cloth Air Filters.
Any input or thoughts which is better and why (K&N vs. BMC)?
Also, between OEM paper filters vs. Cloth Filters?
Thanks Mark

I have a friend who has a 911 Carrera. We used to tear up the back roads back when I had my bimmer 528i. He has had his 911 TOTALLY raced out. It looks stock.. but underneath he has a full race (or very shortly anyways) drivetrain/suspension setup. He's dyno'd about 340bhp at the rear wheels.. It's a non-turbo also.
He went from the K&N to the BMC and said he noticed a very big difference in the engine. He says all the "race guys" use the BMC. I guess the K&N is for us more "common" folk.
Don't know where to get BMC's though...
