Totaled E320 Sport?
So I purchased a 2005 E320 from my banker who needed the loan gone in order to buy a house.
It's a perfect car, and LOVE it! I got it at a steal too. Anyway, I was just in an accident on the 8th of December trying to avoid a deer. I went up over the curb instead.
My insurance company and their worlds of wisdom decided to total out my car. Good news for me I got to keep the salvage and they paid off my entire loan. I just signed up for the forums after reading through them all for the past few months. You guys all helped me out with a lot of stuff that I could have gotten ripped off for! So thanks!
Again. All I can tell is that I need to replace the driver-side axle, driver-side airmatic, and the radiator seems to be optional because the car does not overheat at all. Do you think I can repair the axle???
What are your guy's opinion? The stealership quoted me $10,000 in repairs and labor and the insurance estimate for it was $13,158.08
Thanks!

sorry for your accident. All I can do is share a similar story.
My friend took out his dad's 2011 750li earlier this year while his dad was on vacation.
He ended up getting the rear wheel caught in one of those huge trash containers that go on trucks. He ended up ripping out the wheel and all the suspension goodies as he gassed out. It was basically risky business 2011 edition as he scrambled to fix his car before his dad came back.
BMW quoted him 14,000 to fix his car. He ended up going to the indie shop by me. He paid 3750 for the repair. And we drove that car for 80 extra miles to make sure no lights came on. I'm sure if you can purchase the parts weather it be from MB or from some aftermarket company it will prob be cheaper.

Also, another question. Would I be able to put an 07-09 model grille on my car without changing out the bumper?
I love the pointed look it has!
