Non-powertrain ODBII DTC codes. Will my Innova 3130 detect them?

Non-powertrain ODBII DTC codes. Will my Innova 3130 detect them?
I have a 2004 E320. It has a brake maintenance message up. My Innova Scantool 3130 checks for "P" codes. Will it check for chassis (brake) codes, even if all it does is give me the Mercedes DTC number without any further info?
