D just means it will take 4 hours to complete the service. You need to look in maintenance manual to see what is specifically due based on mileage and time. D does not have any meaning other than the number of labor hours. A=1, B=2 etc.

There is a way to go deeper into your service menu to find out what the car is calling for as I have found the manual to be worthless for me since I have a lower millage, older car (for instance, it called for an F the other day, yet I barely had 55k miles. The shop was like, way over kill). Anyway, don't quote me, I think you put your key into position 2, move your menu to where it says service D due, and hold down the little button you would normally use to reset your trip miles, it will (after a few seconds) pull up the service menu. From here, you can see exactly what services it is calling for (listed by number) and then you can use your manual to cross reference.

I just had service C 4 days overdue yesterday. I just ended up doing an oil change. and had the car checked while it was on the lift. As for resetting or accessing the service menu here are the steps I got off another forum.

1 turn key to #2 position

2 go to mph display in the cluster

3 turn key to off position

4 turn key in # 1 position

5 press trip odometer knob three times (QUICK) voltage will appear on display

6 select Down Arrow (shows service menu)

7 select confirmation using -

8 Press the right menu systems button

9 full service will be highlighted

10 Press and hold right menu system button until service confirmed message appears
