Question Keyless-Go...

Today we went to the dealers and changed a few things around. we took out CD-changer coz mercedes have made single CD standard now and dad thought there was no need for the 6 CD changer (damn!) and so we got keyless-go instead
And so i have a question abt it.....with the keyless-go can you put windows down as well? and secondly do you have to put the key to start the car? also what other things/tricks can you do with keyless-go?

Also if you think there was something else i should have gone for instead of keyless-go then your ideas are welcome....thanks

You can put down the widows half way with keyless go but it's a hassle. Just use the fob for "Summer Opening" is my advice.

You don't have to put the key in to start. Just put your foot on the brake and push the button on top of the shifter and it starts.

I have heard it said on this forum that keyless go is just a nifty feature to impress your friends with. And while it does do that I think it is one of the handiest options around. I carry a clutch purse (a manly one of course) and I always have it with me when I go anywhere (holds my phone, cigs, lighter, money, credit cards etc). I just leave my key in it and I never have to think about it. Hop in the car, puch the button and off you go. Also handy to lock and unlock with just a touch.

there is a button right by the trunk handle. if you just go up to the car, and get something out of the car, then close it, the car should lock itself. but there is a locking button, just like on the door handles. you can also close all the windows by holding on any of the lock buttons

Does keyless go come with the easy entry thing where the steering wheel moves up and then down?
AND
I noticed that with keyless go you lose the wood bit coz the keyless go button goes there.....so do you lose the wood on the shiftknob or does the wood go somewhere else?

Thanks

yes the keylessgo system does come with the easy entry system, and the wood moves toward the back of the shifter, so the wood faces the radio, i cant attach a pic, so trial ended, sorry

sometimes, my keyless go sometimes doesnt work to close all the windows. I press the lock keys near the drivers door and the windows doesn't close. so i have to go inside the car press the button and close it. I thought by pressing the lock button it suppose to close everything right? any one having this problem? or do i do it wrong?

I think you have to push the button twice and hold down the second time till the windows close.
