No Auto-Off on lights?

Drove with low and fogs on. Parked for dinner, come out about 1 hour later and see that all my lights were still on!

Dead battery,-No
Annoyed-VERY MUCH

Started fine-but c'mon. Only goes off automatically when switch is in the AUTO position?

Can't find any Auto-Off (time-out) feature when fog lights are on in the manual. Just wondering if I missed something here.

The fog lights are only available in manual mode, no auto-off. You should have gotten both a descriptive warning on the dash panel and a tone warning as you removed the key.

I had the same thing happen - early AM running low beams and fogs (yes, it was foggy). Killed the battery, of course. For those of us with keyless go, the beeping that reminds us to take the key is the same as the beeping for the lights. My Audi had two different sounds -one for the lights and one for the keys. I usually now take one last look as I walk away from the car to see if I left the lights on. Still paranoid.

You mean there are people that actually put their fogs on only when its foggy????If you havent noticed parks and fogs on only, looks really sweet.Try it sometime, and when you flip the xenons on when its actually darker out, what a sweet front end.The nicest front of any sedan out right now......

Since there is no "fog detector", the car would have to have the fog lights on in auto light sensing mode in order for them to be turned off automatically. If that were the case, power would be drawn unnecessarily by these lights given that in most places,. it isn't foggy that often. Is it easy to forget to turn them off when you use auto mode regularly? At first yes but then the audible warning reminds me.
