TPMS antennae
Hi,
I'm trying to debug a problem with my TPMS system, here's what I see:
I don't know enough about the architecture of the system to know if it's a bad sensor or bad antenna on the car. Does the TPMS system use a single antenna, or one for each wheel well? Are the antennae strong enough to pull in signals from other wheels if one has failed?
Anyway, I'd like to look at the TPMS antenna in the rear right wheel well, to see if the harness is damaged. I have an E500 Wagon.
Also, any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm trying to debug a problem with my TPMS system, here's what I see:
- Replaced all four sensors with Beru 315MHz sensors
- Took to local MB mechanic who input sensors into Star Diag
- Sensors work fine for about 2 days, then I get a 'reactivate sensor' warning
- After reset, sensors read at all four corners except for the back right, which reads 2 psi.
- Brought car back into mechanic, all sensors read max on battery, he resets system
- cycle repeats after a couple of days
