Open to rim suggestions

So I have an AMG pack w211. Unfortunately the former owner grinded the rims so badly, it looks like he was skateboarding on curbs. It's nothing that can't be fixed, but I want to fix up the rims and possibly powder coat them a different color than my stock silver ones. I was fooling around with photoshop and got this. In my head i thought gunmetal powered coated rims with dark dark red calipers would look nice but something seems off. What do you guys think? I'm open to suggestions and feel free to leave your non stock rim set up.

Oi!
I have some Mandrus gun metal ones here in the first pic.....
second pic are stock, but powder coated in a satin black......
really like Mandrus: inexpensive, good looking, MADE for MB cars, hubcentric
and not to many choices to make it ultra confusing.....
you can pretty much spend whatever you want to on wheels these days...
