KLEEMAN - Huh!

KLEEMANN - English Please! I think the topic line states - Kleemann is the best!

I was highly dissappointed in the C32k with a $1k gas guzzler tax and Xenon not standard. I thought one of the aspects and benefits of supercharging a V6 rather than using a big bore V8 was for better gas mileage?

Translation

The header says: KLEEMANN- simply the best.

The body says that KLEEMANN smashes the competition like an insect.

KLEEMANN historic kompressors

KLEEMANN began mass production of kompressor systems with the 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engines about 5 years ago. KLEEMANN has made many one-off kompressor systems since the begining, 8 cylinder and otherwise. These systems were not developed for mass production because the market wasnt there to support it.

Lucas, dear Lucas, where are the pictures of this 500h S 50 k you talk about ? Guys here post pictures of their new rims and exhaust. I'm sure everyone here wuld like to see full Kleemann specs S500 you are talking about. What wheels do you have, 18", 19". Everyone here would love to see what it looks like other then the one on Kleemann web, the "real thing". One look is worth 1000 words.

10-11 years ago, KLEEMANN made twin compressor for W 140
5,0 with 500 HP and 700 NM of torque.

Later they made W 124 E 500 with a BRABUS 6,0 with twin compressor and an intercooler cooled down via the A/C system.
620 HP and 1000 NM.

So they did the old 119 V8.

The KLEEMANN S 50 K I have, you can just look at www.kleemann.dk, because I bought that car from one of the owners, the rims are 9,5x20

I do not have a digital camera and to keep in a few words, I am not to good with computers.

2004 S 600
Did I read correctly that the new E55 has been put on hold for US distribution? I have one on order.

Doesn't sound good for the gas guzzling problem.

Well, at least my 2001 S600 gets 28mpg on the highway....nice that it shuts off 6 cylinders when just cruising.

Actually, heard from dealer that there were possible problems with gas guzzling for the new S600's coming out with improved HP.

It's not just 55 compressor models for the US market, it's all AMG
55 with compressor, in every singel body shape they come in, which have a huge problem.
They can't even tell me when I get my SL 55, delivery time unknown.

S50K

Lucas-

Do you have any good driving stories with your S50K? You know like outrunning a lowly Porsche or forcing a police Polo off the road?

Hmmm?

Ive got a good story about somone in our company doing a burn out at a redlight while showering a motorcycle cop with rubber- but I digress....

KLEEMANN :

I have so many, I am planing to publish a book

Most stories I have are with high speed on German "autobahns",
where Germans are kings in their S 600, SLK 32 or Porsches.
Most people are quite arrogant, when they take you over with
250 KM/h, then there is a bit of traffic and they have to brake.
I drive up behind them, and when the outer lane is free, they
give all the poor car can run. I am just right behind them up till
250, where most cars not are accelerating so much any more.
Give the poor guy high beams a few times so he have to pull in
and then over take so fast that he feels his is driving on a parking lot and just push it to 315 on the clock, and just disapere.
Wait for him, give him another chance, which I guarantee he will take a rain check on. some times they will follow me 200 km to a gas station and want's to see the car and have an explanation on
what happened to their super car.

Lucas

Reading you story almost felt like watching a high speed movie chase!

One question.

What is your best story out of your S50K? Just curious.

hey , don't be like Lucas and post a pic of your S600-- engine bay. Get real, do you really think that someone would follow anybody 200km just to check the car that passed them? In Germany? Get real every AMG can easily go ove 155 with lilmiter removed, to believe Lucas he is the only one in Europe with the tuned car, how would kleemann survive if Lucas is the only one with the Kleem Kompressor. By the way looks like there will be no pictures of this S50k that makes them all feel like they drive in "parking lot" how do you have the means to buy S50 k and not be able to buy digital camera or just scan regular picture and being able to post. To have all the time to post here but not to have time to learn how to post a pic is puzzling. I'd rather take a look at the car that have to read one millllllion stories.

by the way, go to Germany and see for yourself------most of the cars are not Benzos or BmW's lots of little s h i t, some are really tiny. Go to Rome and you will not see Benzo in a week and they have autostradas and can take you from airport in the Chrysler van at 200km/h. In Germany on many roads limit at 120mph and most of the time traffffic. The best time to open it up is probaly sunday. Many stories about autobahn, reality is very different.
