The Exhaust Chronicles continue...Mustang V6 exhaust on a M112?
Hi all, after getting rid of my secondary cats and resonators, the car sounded absolutely horrible and raspy through the e55 exhaust I have on.
So I added an H pipe where the cats used to be and now it sounds really deep and throaty from startup to about 2000RPM. Lovely. Job done!
Erm..no...I will not even begin to attempt an explanation as to how completely AWFUL it sounds above that!!![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Now I have been scouring the web for sound clips of decent sounding V6 Benzs, especially the CLKs and there are a few..but..I have no idea of the setups and most people don't want to let in.
So, I came across a bunch of really amazing sounding Mustang V6s...and got thinking, what would one of these "systems" sound like on our cars...good, bad, ugly?
Has anyone attempted this..or any component from one of the setups?
Maybe a Flowmaster Delta series muffler after the H pipe??
I will be getting a set of the OBX C32 headers, so experimentation is, obviously, inevitable!
