V60 Phone & Sprint
Has anyone got the phone and signed up with Sprint? My dealer tells me that the phones are presently incompatable with Sprint. Any ideas or info would be appreciated.

You should contact your local SprintPCS service provider to see if the v60 is available in your area. It is not presently available in the Los Angeles area. Also, Mercedes is changing to the v60i tri-band phone; check to see if that works on your local Sprint network and buy that phone from your MBZ dealer instead.

Will the v60 Tri-band phone work with an '03? And what is a "Tri-Band phone? I'll TRY to call sprint to see if it will work with their service.
Thanks for your information.

Where did you get the info that Mercedes was changing to the tri-mobile?

it uses three different frequencies and should be GSM standard. GSM is a standard protocol used all over the europe. In fact I think everywhere except US and Canada... So now US is catching up with europe...
