Taking my car into the shop tomorrow for the final step of my E55 conversion, welding on tips and muffler delete.

Just wondering if anybody has done this to an E270CDI and knows what it sounds like with both the left and right rear mufflers deleted?

I have searched Youtube but there isn't much to go on.

My other option is to get two hotdog high performance mufflers installed and remove the old ones.

Will i get an increase in black smoke with mufflers removed?

Will the car sound ok or like a rough truck?

Is back pressure an issue in this situation? Or is it all fine as i still have the DPF and res installed.


Any help would be fantastic.

Going in tomorrow at 10am which is around 11 hours away :O
