Harmon Kardon Radio Problem
I have a 2003 E500 2300miles... LOVE the car, however one problem.... I got the upgraded radio system and indash cd, love it, until yesterday, It started to just shut off on its own (display and sound) and now is completely shut down, when i start car up, if i have the speedo display set to the audio screen, it says
audio please wait,
then after 2 minutes it says
audio
....
Thats it, main radio dispay is blank, no sounds or anything...
Called dealer and they stated that they have seen this before, once or twice, possible software issue, and they aren't sure if they have to exchange the head unit or not... I am going to be travelling so can't bring it in until 7/7
net net, has anyone else had this issue, if so what was the problem?
Only good news, is I have no excuse to listen to the sweet music of the V8

JIM Thanks soo much I removed fuse #6 and insterted it right back in, and bingo Radio works!!! My appt. with dealer isn't until 7/7 (due to vacation) but at least I might have some tunes for this weekend, we will see but I am absolutely still bringing it in for them to fix, for sure!!!
