North American and Euro versions
What's the difference between north american and european versions ?
for example why e500 w211 euro has 306bhp and american 302bhp
also prices on european ones are much higher
I was on mbusa.com and fully loaded cls550 costed $81.000 and on
mercedes-benz.de same cls550 but euro one costed 130.000 euro fully loaded why???????!!! this became mystery of my life

Dunno why there is any difference in performance but i can say for sure that the build quality in european versions is much better...

a lot of the performance differences are because the emissions laws in other countries are different i.e. less restrictions
4hp is nothing tho, i wouldn't necessarily call that a difference.
also manufacturing costs could be more expensive like materials etc in other countries, some mercedes are produced state side...
