The Black Box™ Turtle Wax | Black W211s

Hello all. Just finished a long few days of detailing my new E550 4matic, well new to me it's a 2007 but it IS my first car . So I went to a local Checker's auto shop and picked up for the first time a product called The Black Box™ by Turtle wax, it is a carnuba based wax that is black itself! The stuff is AMAZING, it makes the clearcoat on my W211 look like a mirror, and it filled in any white chips/marks from normal wear and tear.

It is ONLY for black vehicles and is a multi-step waxing system, but unlike previous Turtle Wax products it is extremely easy to get off and there is plenty in the box to do even an S-Class. I am not endorsed by them or at all related to their company, but I have to say you NEED to try this wax if you have the volition as it is absolutely awe-inspiring. There is my spiel .

I purchased this as well for my "new to me" '09 nearly 1-month ago but haven't had a chance to use it. Glad to hear positive feedback. I'm looking onward to free, dry weekend.

Very nice! Glad to hear someone has purchased it. I recommend doing it in an overcast area as well, otherwise carnuba can be impossible to get off - but let me know what you think!

Sean's Sister--
Can this be done by hand? My girl has a black car and she needs a good shine

Yeah the Blackbox is very easy to do by hand and that is what I did. I only later came back with a sheepskin buffer to get the shine I now have, but even without that extra last step it worked very very well.

I also want to mention that any road rash/chips/scuffing will be completely hidden by this wax for a long time as it is pigmented as well.
