Found a wire in my center console?
I know this is pretty noob, but I found a wire under the padding of my center console. It can fit an 8-prong plug (4 on top and 4 on bottom)
What is this for? Is this for the iPod/iPhone integration like the new W212's have? I would love to be able to control my music and phone through the COMAND unit.
How would I go about doing that anyway? My car says no tel installed and I want to be able to read my texts and make phonecalls through my COMAND unit like all of the cool kids. Hahaha
Anyway, I am looking forward to your responses.

iPod integration would be in the glove box for the W211. I am thinking this might just be a part of the phone docking system in the center console that allows Mercedes-Benz compatible phones to interact with in car calling.
