W211 E200K MIL and horrible mileage

Hi all,

This is my first post in this forum. I've just recently started driving a W211 E200K with M271 engine. I have absolutely no information on what the previous owner did to this car. He has apparently converted it to full spec Brabus K4 kit which of all things includes black interior, kompressor upgrade, 4 tail pipes, amongst others.

Since i have been handed this car to drive by my company, i have been experiencing horrible mileage on this car. Average of 14MPG mixed urban and freeway.

After awhile the MIL came on. So i proceeded to buy a ELM327 obd2 device and used Torque Pro for Android to read the fault codes.

The codes detected were the following :

P0170 - Powertrain Fuel Trim (Bank 1)
P205C - Powertrain
P2058 - Powertrain Reductant Injector Circuit high bank 2 Unit 2
P2029 - Powertrain Fuel fired Heater Disabled
P201C - Powertrain

Other than that there appears to also be a battery problem with the dash showing "Battery Protection : Convenience functions temporarily unavailable"

Could anyone tell me what these codes mean and how best do i go about in dealing with it.

I am located in Malaysia. Gas is cheap but at 14MPG it does burn some hole in your wallet. And although labor is cheap getting a merc fixed could be quite exorbitant

You have issues with the high pressure fuel circuit and injectors. You need an MB indy with a SDS system or dealer to resolve the detail issues, however I would respectively return the car to your employer and let him or her solve the problems. This will leave you more time to sell palm oil!!
